The emergency package is starting with an initial $10 million to be dispersed among 2,000 grantees, but the consortium plans to increase its fundraising efforts, with the goal of helping at least 100 artists every week until the end of September. Compared to the heavy paperwork involved with traditional grant applications, applying for this fund should take around 30 minutes to complete, with the applicant answering a brief online questionnaire and two open-ended questions.
